In the fall of 2011, WinCo Foods hired DaviesMoore to come up with an advertising campaign to launch new stores in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Phoenix, and Bremerton. As the “Supermarket low price leader” WinCo’s primary consumer benefit is their ability to offer significantly lower prices than their competitors on identical products. After writing a creative brief focusing on the insight that spending less on groceries is smart, I wrote and pitched the “Prices so Low” campaign for television, radio, and outdoor.
